| Player's comments: | Pop idol Antonis Remos was born in Duesseldorf
Germany in 1970. He relocated to Greece 10 years later residing in the beautiful city of
Thessaloniki. Since 1995, when he started singing, he has worked with very known greek
singers from the past which affected his way of singing. He's released 8 CD, 1 of them
turn in gold, 4 of them platin and 1 double-platin status. Last year he won the Prize of
best Pop CD in the Greek Music Awards (he was also candidate for 3 more prizes). The song
"Filaraki" is from 2001, but it has still a huge success not mainly because of
its music but because of the very sentimental lyrics. I've chosen that song, not because I think it can won, but because of sentimental reasons, it reminds me a filaraki (=good friend) who died so suddently. |
