Sissel & Espen Lind - Where the lost ones go

Country - Norway     Player- Trond

(music & words: Espen Lind & Magnus Rostadmo)

Leave and let me go
You're not meant for me, I know
carry on, carry on and I'll stay strong

Leave and let me go
I will think of you, I know
But carry on, carry on and I'll stay strong

Someone else will keep you warm from now on
Someone else will keep you safe from the storm
But I'll be with you wherever you go
So you will never be alone
I'm going where the wind blows
Going where the lost ones go

I will be with you
I'm losing the love I found
crying without a sound
Where have you gone?
I will be with you
You were my fool for love
Sent me from high above
You were the one
I will be with you
I'm going where the wind blows
Going where the lost ones go
Leave and let me go
Don't look back just let me know
You'll carry on, carry on, you must stay strong

Nothing ever looks the same in the light
Nothing ever seems to quite turn out right
But when you realize that you have been loved
You will never be alone
I'm going where the wind blows
Going where the lost ones go

I will be with you
I'm losing the love I found
crying without a sound
Where have you gone?
I will be with you
You were my fool for love
Sent me from high above
You were the one
I will be with you
I'm going where the wind blows
Going where the lost ones go

Leave and let me go
Baby I can't come along
So carry on, carry on, you must stay strong

Player's comments:
Espen Lind started out with the name "Sway". He made one album in that name and later switched to his real name Espen Lind. He writes and composes most of his songs and also for other singers (among others Sissel). In 1998 he made the song "When Susannah cries" and sang it himself. This song is up to date his most successful and made him known all over Norway and also in other countries. Last year he released his third album ("This is pop music") and the successful single "Black Sunday".
Sissel Kyrkjebø is Norway's most popular singer. She was discovered as a 15 year old singing in a TV-show from Bergen and got the chance to sing in the interval act of Eurovision 1986. After that everyone in Norway know her by the first name and she is even more known than A-Ha in Norway. Sissel has released 3 albums in Norwegian (1986, 1989 and 1994) and 2 albums in English (1992 and 2001) + a live "best of" album (2002). Besides this she has contributed on the soundtrack of the movie "Titanic", sung with different opera singers (among others the three tenors) and released songs with the group the chieftans. At the moment she is trying to build a carreer in the USA and her songs from the 2001 album "All good things" have been re-arranged and will be released there shortly.
